Tournament Conditions:
- Open to all male and female amateur players in nominated events with an official Golf Australia handicap.
- The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Rules Limited will apply together with the local rules as determined by the Goldfields Golf Club (GGC) Match Committee.
- Dress Code - neat and tidy golf attire with enclosed shoes - on course and in the clubhouse.
- The Match Committee reserves the right to vary conditions of play in any way if found necessary (including inclement weather). First gross ties for men and ladies in 36 hole event will be decided by sudden death playoff on holes 10 & 18 which will be repeated until a winner is determined. All other ties are to be decided by using countback method.
- The GGC Match Committee will arrange all draws for tee off times. The fields for all events during the Classic will be restricted to 172 players.
- All competitors to report to the starter no later than 20 minutes before scheduled tee-off time. If tee-off time is missed, competitor may be disqualified.
- All score cards to be handed into the Captain's Office within a reasonable time of completion of a round. Please note: mark your cards in 36 hole event (J) for juniors (must be under 18 at time of competition). All categories require a minimum of 10 qualifying participants.
- Laser and GPS measuring devices are permitted, provided the sole function of the device is to measure distance only. No other function must be available on the device, whether used or not.
- Use of motorised carts is permitted throughout the Classic.
- Order of trophy allocation will be determined by the GGC Match Committee and novelty prizes will be available on selected holes for every competition day.
- The allocation time for completion of a round on the Kalgoorlie Golf Course has been determined at 4 hours and 40 minutes. The GGC Match Committee through its course marshalls will be very vigilant in regard to slow play and penalties may apply to anyone significantly in breach of this time frame.
- All entrants can expect an AM and PM round over the Classic weekend, however, early tee off times for both days can be requested. Two late tee off times cannot be requested.
- Withdrawal from the competition involves forfeiture of the entry fee once the draw has been completed.
- The GGC Match Committee has absolute control of all competition events that comprise the 2024 Goldfields Classic.
